Industrial Automation Beijing 2013

To further understand the manufacturing process and its developments and gain insights into the market we visited the Industrial Automation. The International Automaton Beijing offers a platform for companies to enter the industrial market in Northern China, using automation technologies. The fair is organized by Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.  and this year was held from 26th until the 28th June 2013 at the Beijing Exhibition Centre. It allows participants to enter new markets, meet new clients, build new networks, and gain publicity. Visitors were able to discover an array of new technologies and products from three different categories: industrial automation, process & energy automation and automation technologies & new trends.

Different halls housed various interesting machines demonstrating an array of 3D printers, a super-fast tic-tac sorting machine and production line machinery. The finished 3D printed products were on display and featured items ranging from prosthetic limbs to skateboards and aerospace parts. There were also stalls set up exhibiting renewable energy hardware such as wind turbine computer systems and also advanced computer system software. Along with a display of products and innovation there was also forums and conferences held for further industry networking.

Overall the event fulfilled expectations and gave us an insight into the increasing capabilities of mechanisation of labour and how the factories of the future will look. These new technologies give a great deal of promise for the future especially in the fields of medicine and development of renewable energy. For those of you tech nerds or just those of you who wish to invest in these new innovative, precise and time-saving technologies we strongly recommend a visit to next year’s International Automation Beijing!
